WHAT’S YOUR BIOLOGICAL AGE?
Did you know that it is possible for someone to be biologically younger or older than their chronological age? Our biological age can be estimated by measuring the average length of our telomeres. This average is at its longest when we are born, and it decreases with passing years.
Telomeres are regions of repetitive sequences of DNA found at each end of a chromosome. They protect the end of chromosomes from deterioration or from fusion with neighbouring chromosomes. Longest telomere sequences are found in stem cells and each time a cell divides, its telomeres shorten. Once telomeres are too short, cells can no longer divide and become senescent.
As we age, we tend to accumulate more and more senescent cells – even though they are meant to promptly self-destruct – whilst we also produce less and less stem cells. Consequently, the average length of our telomeres tend to decrease with age and knowing this average can be a valuable indicator for our biological age and health.
HOW DO YOU REVERSE AGEING?
Our research aims to demonstrate that by promoting daily homeostasis our health protocol can lead to a decrease in senescent cells, an increase in stem cells and consequently an increase in average telomere length.

STEP 1.
Boost your will power with daily cold showers. Whilst optional, this boost will make it much easier to keep:
> Exercising regularly
> Staying away from carbs while on the Keto Diet
> Restricting your daily eating to a 6 hours period
STEP 2.
The transition from burning carbs to burning fat can be challenging for people with high carb diets. Prior to switching to a Ketogenic diet, we recommend starting with a couple of weeks of time restricted eating. This will get your body used to burning ketones and should help smooth the transition.
STEP 3.
Significantly reduce your levels of oxidative stress daily with a combination of:
> Vitamins & Supplements
STEP 4.
With lower levels of oxidative stress, signalling proteins and hormones are less likely to suffer degradation from free radical damage during their journey. Clear signals are essential for apoptosis (i.e the prompt removal of senescent cells unable to further divide).
STEP 5.
Autophagy is a natural mechanism of the cell which allows for the orderly degradation and recycling of cellular components. Its primary function may be to promote health and longevity. It can be triggered with:

Greatly reduce your levels of senescent cells with a combination of:
> Apoptosis (step 4)
> Autophagy  (step 5)
STEP 7.
Boost the release of new stem cells by:
> Reducing your levels of senescent cells (step 6)
> Enabling the uninterrupted flow of internal signals (step 4)
STEP 8.
Boost the average length of your telomeres by:
> Reducing your levels of senescent cells (step 6)
> Increasing your levels of stem cells (step 7).
